Merry Christmas, everyone! This year was an especially chill Christmas for our family. Paddington and I made the drive to Dallas to hang out with the parents before Adrian flew in late on Christmas Eve. I spent Christmas Eve baking cookies -- salted chocolate chip and funfetti sprinkle cookies! Mom set out a huge cheese and charcuterie spread and we had a mini cocktail party dinner. Things heated up when we broke out the board games! Our competitive sides started showing through Scattegories and Pictionary, but it was so much fun.
We opened presents on Christmas morning, ate a delicious quiche lorraine that Mom made, and headed out to church. It seems like we have a Collins family tradition of always going to see a movie on Christmas Day and this year was no exception. We went to see "Ladybird," a coming-of-age film about a Catholic school girl itching to move away from her hometown. It was so good! Hope you enjoy some of our family photos below. It took us some time to figure out how to work the self timer!
